Since I’m launching this blog now, I figured I ought to do the obligatory introduction post so that those of you who don’t know me can get a quick idea what to expect. Quite a few of you (bless your little souls) have been frequenting my photoblog, Captures Light, and wondering when I was going to breakout of the static index page and actually create a real blog… Well, here ya go!! After working on the design for quite a few months, now that it’s up, I realise how dark it is… That must have been how I was feeling at the time I guess. *grin*

Just as a brief overview for those who don’t know me… I’m a programmer, photographer, costumer, musician and mother/wife, and I’ll say this now, all parts of me share my brain equally. Therefore, expect to find an eclectic mix of content in this blog, from the latest CSS trend I’m dabbling in, to recent photographic discoveries, to musing on the latest 1400th century portrait gown I hope to recreate.

To the right, you can find a snippet of the latest entry from my photoblog, as the photography usually winds up taking priority one in my spare time, mostly due to my wonderful family, and the plethora of really good musicians I am lucky enough call friends.
